Sales Engagement
Gong
Overview of Gong integration with HockeyStack.
About Gong
Gong records and analyzes sales calls and meetings. HockeyStack pulls that conversation data so calls show up on the same journeys as CRM, web, and marketing activity — and so agents can use what was said on the call.
About the integration
Connect Gong with OAuth. HockeyStack syncs call metadata, participants, and transcripts on a regular cadence (about every 15 minutes). Calls attach to people by email when Gong has it, and to CRM accounts/deals when Gong already has that context.
What we track
Gong Call Started — a call/meeting took place (title, time, duration, direction)
Gong Call Attended / Gong Call Skipped — external participants, by email
Transcript, brief, key points, topics, and outline stored for agents and deal context (not as extra funnel events)
Host and participant details; Gong’s CRM IDs when present
We do not sync Gong emails. Call updates are kept for properties and do not drive attribution the way a website touchpoint does.
1. Sales conversations on the buyer journey
See discovery and demo calls next to ads, site visits, and CRM stage changes for the same account.
2. Richer deal and account context
Transcripts and recaps feed account intelligence, deal agents, meeting follow-up, and Q&A about what happened on calls.
3. Rep and pipeline visibility
Use call activity in journeys, filters, and reporting alongside the rest of your GTM data.
Authorize HockeyStack in Gong. We pull calls for your Gong users, write journey actions for the call and attendees, and store transcripts for AI and deal views.
