Vector
Overview of vector integration with HockeyStack.
About Vector
Vector is a contact-based B2B intent platform. Its pixel identifies site visitors and sends visit and intent data to other tools.
About the integration
HockeyStack receives Vector events over a webhook and stores them as actions on people and companies. You can use that data in journeys, reports, goals, and scoring alongside website, CRM, and ads. HockeyStack does not name anonymous visitors on its own — identified contacts come from Vector, a form fill, or your CRM.
What we track
When Vector sends an event, HockeyStack records:
Intent Detected — Vector identified intent on a person (email, title, company, segment)
Page Visited — a known contact visited a page (URL, UTMs, referrer, company)
Company Visited — a company hit the site even when no person email is available
We also store company name and domain, and Vector segment name. Other Vector event types are not ingested.
Benefits of integration
1. Person-level visitor identity
Vector can send a named contact when it resolves one. Those people show up in HockeyStack journeys with their Vector visit and intent activity.
2. Intent in the same model as the rest of GTM
Treat Vector intent and visits like any other HockeyStack action — filter accounts, build goals, and include them in attribution and scoring.
3. Near real-time
Events land when Vector fires the webhook, not on a daily sync.
Add Vector’s webhook destination in Vector and authenticate with your HockeyStack API key. Point a Vector segment at that webhook. Matching visitors are sent to HockeyStack as they happen.
